Principal's Message

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Camarillo Heights STEM Academy! Camarillo and the Pleasant Valley School District have always been part of my life. I moved here in 1974 and grew up running through the orchards in the Heights. The word “family” is often used to describe CHSA, and I am excited to be part of the Lion Pride. 

In my over thirty years in education, I have served in various roles such as a teacher, a performing arts director, a mentor teacher, and an Assistant Principal of Instruction. Each role has given me experience, perspective, and a continued passion for students, teachers, families, and education. 

As an administrator, educator, and parent of eight children, I believe that all students can and should have the opportunity to learn at high levels in a place where they feel represented. I am committed to working side-by-side with each of you to provide the best educational experience possible for our kids. 

You are what makes this community feel like a home. I can’t wait to partner with each of you to accomplish amazing things for our students. I look forward to many years of working with you and your children.
